Always open to a new adventure, Amanda started practicing yoga in college as an addition to participating on the field hockey and track teams. Drawing upon her strength as an athlete, Amanda found yoga challenged her to slow, stretch, and release. Finding the relationship between strength and flexibility has continued to call Amanda back to her mat, and to dig deeper into her own yoga practice. Moved by interest in adding more ways to incorporate mindfulness and compassion in her role as an educator, mother, and athlete, Amanda completed her 200-hour training with Mighty Yoga in Hanover, NH in 2018. Inspired by the beauty of our area, Amanda incorporates elements of the seasons and nature in class sequences.
