Laura started what she thought was a journey into fitness and wellness but has now taken over and become her lifestyle. She began group fitness in 1994 in Toronto with the Ontario Fitness Council and with Pilates at Body Harmonics. In 1996 Laura expanded her fitness career into the Aquatics field with CALA. Laura then became happily married and was imported to the United State. Here she started her re-certification process where she added many more aspects to her fitness career. In 2002 she become certified with NETA with a group fitness certification, 2003 she received her AEA Aquatics certification, 2013 TRX Group Suspension Training enter her life, 2014 she became MadDog Spinning Indoor Cycling certified, and in 2015 she became a NCCPT Personal Trainer. Along with the above certifications, Laura has also been specially trained in Resistaball, Zumba, AquaZumba, wellness longevity coach, and with issues that are specific to women.
When Laura is not instructing or studying new certifications she has a passion for X-country skiing, cycling, and volunteering with different community efforts. When Laura is not working or exploring the outdoors she can be found either in her kitchen or tinkering around her yard.
